For little dogs and cats, they remain in harness with leash attached so they can be safely unloaded when we reach the destination. For larger dogs, the backseat is ready with the pup seatbelts attached to the head rests. This gives them some room to move, but ultimate security for pup parents. We never have animals in the front seats.
